Day of Coordinating

Most couples I work with are looking forward to being hands-on with their wedding planning. And, even if you wanted to, who can afford a full blown wedding planner in this economy?

But — let’s be real — planning an event for 50, 100, or 200 people is no small feat.

You might not know:

  • How long will it actually take to serve a meal to that many people?

  • How much booze should we plan for?

  • What do we do if our venue doesn’t have a sound system… or toilets?

  • How are we going to get the chairs from the ceremony to the reception?

That’s where I come in.

I’m with you every step of the way…

  • Beginning

At the start of your planning, I help you get clear on your values and priorities so that you can go away and plan your wedding, your way.

  • Middle

6-8 weeks before your wedding, I check in to ensure that the planning is going smoothly and answer any questions you have. Together, we will finalise the timeline for the day and see how all your planning will come together. 1 week before the wedding you will hand all vendors over to me as the point of contact.

  • End

I’m there on your wedding day to be your wedding wingwoman. I will coordinate everything and ensure that all your planning pays off— no stress, no hiccups— just joy and celebration!

How We Begin

I love to begin my work with a Values Mapping Activity— a conversation to identify what really matters most to you both in a wedding. Often non-traditional, queer, feminist couples want to think outside the box and ditch the traditions that don’t resonate with them. This activity allows you to intentionally craft a wedding that reflects your values, your personalities, and your shared vision for celebrating the start of your marriage.

It also honours the fact that our time and budgets are often limited. This exercise will also help you work together to define your top priorities— so that your energy, money, and attention go where it matters most.
